Sport shifting mode

I have an automatic 06 Acura TL. I always drive it in Sports mode just because I find it more fun to drive. Recently, Ive been reading about potential transmission problems as a result of driving in sports mode. Can someone explain to me why that is? When I drive it in sports mode I shift up around 4500 rpm and shift down around 2000. Am I ruining my cars transmission? Should I discontinue driving in sports mode?

I also hear this weird sound sometimes when i first step on the gas from a stopped position. Could that be a result of my transmission? Btw im 18, got the car with 63km and now has 70. Trying to learn a bit about my car.

I believe that I have the same sound as well. It almost sounds like a turbo spooling (best example). I have not found any issues with my transmission, yet this car is new to me.
