Spinning bolt
Decided to change my passenger side axle out on my 05 6mt yesterday, and after hitting numerous bumps road in the I was finally able to get the axle off of the intermediate shaft.
My problem right now, is that the bolt that connects the wishbone to the LCA just keeps on spinning and won't come out at all. I've tried getting a screwdriver underneath the head to help pull it out, but I can't fit anything in there. If I hold a wrench on the nut on the other side, the nut comes off no problem but that bolt isn't going anywhere.
So what are my options here? I've read that cutting the bolt and drilling out is my best option, but I wanted to get some other input before I go attempting something that I've never done before and risk ruining something else.

Hi,
I think you can tap the bolt out.
I'm about to swap my shocks. That bolt needs to come out to take out the shock assembly. In one of the you tube videos I've seen, the mechanic says to tap the bolt out.
Unless I'm thinking of another bolt. If I find the video, I'll post it.

Easy as taking a screwdriver and tapping the bolt out using a hammer on the end of the screwdriver.
