Sounds like bad CV joint
I started to notice a sound coming from the passenger side front end that sounds just like a bad CV joint. It has been quite cold lately (below freezing) and it seems like I notice it when I first start driving the car in the morning when I am turning hard and slow to the left. I bought this TL about a month ago from a private owner and it only had 28,000 miles on it. I, unfortunately, have concluded that he has driven this car pretty hard as I just put 4 new tires on because 3 were the Bridgestones (nearly bald) everyone has been complaining about and the 4th was some BS tire that didn't even match which to me says he was dropping the clutch every chance he got. I guess he could have hit a pothole or something and ruined the tire but the rim has no damage. Admittedly I haven't even looked under the car to see if I can tell if there is any damage making this noise. It's going to a local shop late this week for a 4 wheel alignment - maybe they might see something if there is an obvious problem. Anybody else experiencing something similar?

What is the noise? You didn't even describe it. Also a bad axle usually clicks/clunks a lot when turning. If the last owner did drive the car hard it's possible that he has damaged the axle. Shouldn't be too hard to replace.

The noise is just that click, click, click...the click speed matching the rotation speed of the tire. If anyone has had a bad CV joint, they know this undeniable sound.

Sounds like it just replace the axle. I'm sure they aren't that expensive and you usually get a lifetime warranty when you get a new one.
