Soft Clutch Pedal
Drop my TL this morning to work, about 11 miles, didn't notice anything out of the garage. Just went out and drove to lunch, clutch feels like mush to about 1/2 way. Any thoughts?

hopefully just a leaky slave cylinder. is there fluid on the ground where you parked?

the clutch master or slave cylinders may have just stopped working.
i see you had it towed already, but if someone pushed the clutch pedal from inside does the slave cylinder move at all? The slave is located on the transmission, connected to a small arm sticking out of a hole. If you follow the master cylinder lines you can probably find it.
Seems like there are more instances of either the MC or SC going bad now. At least it's only a few hundred bucks (less if DIY) and you're good to go vs. a rebuild for the 5AT.

No idea other than what I assume they mean a clutch adjustment, which isnt necessary unless you have an aftermarket non Self Adjusting Clutch installed.
Our stock/original clutch/pressure plate combo does not require adjustment.

if it's a stock clutch replacement, it could be that the SAC mechanism was released during or before installation. Meaning it was in the most "worn" position the entire time and led to premature failure. Did you have any problems with notchy or difficult shifting after the clutch was replaced?
here is a picture for reference:
the springs should be in a compressed position during the installation. It can be unsprung apparently with handling or from the factory.
Did they replace the pressure plate along with the clutch disk? If they replaced only the clutch disk and not the pressure plate, they could have forgotten to reset the pressure plate...but most clutch kits come with a new pressure plate i thought.
it also looks like if the pressure plate lock is removed before assembling the clutch, pp, and flywheel together you can spring the mechanism. That requires a manual reset of the pressure plate.

I just got her back. No charge but they asked if I ride the clutch, which I don't but also that I'm not giving enough gas in first and possibly using to much clutch not enough gas in 1st gear.

Everything was replaced with stock clutch is what I am told, not the performance clutch though. Same shop, different mechanic. This is the shop my husband worked at before he died, they know my TL.
