Slight thumps when accelerating?
My 04 3G has about 95k miles and within the last few months I've noticed sometimes when accelerating from a stop, it thumps a bit until it gets to 3rd gear. I feel it more when going uphill slowly. It's not bucking, but instead feels like I'm going over a cracked road.
I had this happen in my Jeep (but much worse) and it ended up being the computer. I know the 3G has had many reported transmission issues, so I'm hoping this isn't one of them. If so, I want to take care of it before it gets worse.
Any ideas?

Mine were first replaced around 160,000km (under extended warranty). I have 220,000 now and can feel the same thing again.
It's not really a big deal, just normal wear and tear. Take it to a shop to confirm it is in fact the driveshafts - but that vibration is the first thing that comes to mind for me.

OK thanks. I've been trying to monitor the RPMs when this happens because they seem to bump a bit when it happens too.
If anyone else has experienced it, I'm curious if it was driveshaft for you as well.
