Side Mirrors Tilt-3rd Gen

When I put it in reverse only my passenger side mirror tilts. I know this was standard on the 2nd gen but aren't both of them supposed to tilt on the 3rd gen. If so how can I fix it. Thanks

No-you can choose only the driver's side or passenger's side mirror to tilt down.

only one side tilts when you put it in reverse. you can select which side by moving the switch above the mirror adjustment knob.

So which ever way I place the switch will be the one that tilts, never both at the same time right?

Exactly. If you don't want either to tilt than you slide the switch to the middle.
