Shutters at 65+ - 2005 TL
Car was shuttering at 65-70mph, I just got new tires and alignment checked and the car is still shuttering at these speeds. What could this problem be? At first I thought it was the road, but definitely not the case for 45 miles.

do you feel the shudder in the steering wheel, seat, or like its in you cheeks...yes I said cheek as in your face. also when you brake does it get worse or stay the same? what kind of tires?

It was shuddering before I got the new tires from GoodYear. I bought the tires from GoodYear and am assuming that they did a balancing on them. The car is shuddering in the steering wheel and my seat. When I brake it is roughly the same, but I have not been going above 65mph b/c of this. Any thoughts on how I can fix this? Could it be a motor mount? Shocks? Struts? Or is it as easy as a balancing?

What's the maximum speed limit in your area?
My friend recently got new winter tires, and they shudder like crazy when he's going ~ 70 mph. Speed limit on our highways is about 60.
He told me that their tech said they have no obligation to balance the tires above the maximum speed limit. Something to think about.

I've been getting a slight shutter at highway speeds also. Try having the balancing done. I'm having an alignment/rotation/balance done this weekend.
And Aman, snow tires ride like crap to begin with, let alone when they're not balanced correctly. I feel like I'm driving a dump truck sometimes.

Does the shutter go away at a certain speed? like past ~75mph?? I had the same problem and couldn't figure out what the heck was wrong, had all wheels rebalanced and nada. I would notice shuttering when going above 50 up to about 75 then it would stop.
I switched the wheels around to the back, and felt the back shutter after that checked the rims and it turns out one of the rims was bent Replaced the rim and now it's all smooth. Might be something you'd want to look into.

Sweet, thank you. Speed limit is 65mph on rt. 95. It seems to happen right around that speed. I have not tried to go any faster to break through the shuttering b/c I really feel like the car is going to fall apart or fly off the road.
