Shuddering When Cold 50-60 MPH

So about 1k mi ago i had 2 new DWS tires put on the front and the 10k mi old dws to the rear. Right after i noticed (all the time) a shuddering like feeling almost like there are a bunch of rumble strips in the road is the best i can explain it. So i went back the next day and had them rebalance it and it was gone. Now since then i have noticed when i first start driving it will still do it between 50/60 and then after a few miles of driving it goes away. So im wondering do you think they just failed twice to balance them correctly or do i have a faulty set of tires? The manager did say there balancer was down so they had to do it the old school way, whatever that means. Thanks everyone

When I worked at Lexus we had this same thing happen to several new cars, mostly the ones with low profile high performance tires. ( IS line and LS 460 ) We came to the conclusion that it was the tires being so soft they developed a flat spot from sitting for a few days. The reason the vibration goes away shortly after driving is they heat up enough to make the spot smooth back out.

You could also have a bad tire? Ask them what the road force numbers are when they balance them. The lower the number the better. I would take it back and have them balanced again.
