Seat movement on hard accel or decel...

My car is at the dealer today... I told them that I can feel my driver's side seat rocks slightly upon acceleration or heavy braking. Like something in the track is loose or a bushing is shot. It's VERY slight, but still annoying.

They didn't seem to think that this was anything common. I asked them to look into it, but does anyone here know of a common weak point in the seat mounting points I should point them to?
Would be great if it's something simple like a bushing or it just needs adjustment / tightening. I don't want to get into a huge production to fix a minor annoyance.

Any BDTD appreciated! Thanks!

It's come up a few times in the past and the track was the culprit

Hmm, sounds like it could be loose bolts, but it is most likely a defective seat frame rail, which is a few hundred $$ to fix.
I'll check the bolts myself and then see where to go from there.

Ideally, yeah, the bolts would be the culprit. Best of luck to ya

Mine moves a bit when I back out of the driveway and come over the curb. It isn't my bolts either...so I assume it is the track and I am way too lazy to take that apart. Until it gets worse to where it annoys me during my drive, I will continue to live with it.

Mine moves a little as well. Not enough to waste money on at a dealer. How much was the inspection?

I had a similar problem last year. Turned out to loose bolts, that's all.

I had dealer check for loose bolts. Not sure what they did, but I don't feel any movement in the seat anymore!
