Replacing Pollen filter
I know there are alot of forums out there about this, and i read them all... i have a 06 TL, and After i take the glove box off, i still have the plastic part covering the actual filter compartment, how do i rip that cover off? can some one provide pictures maybe?

For other members- check the DIY section to save 100 bucks on this job by doing it at home.
You can use kitchen scissors to remove the small connecter tabs on the cover. Note the cover says to save itself for re-use.
Cutting the tabs on one side and bending the cover back and forth will break the other tabs free.
After replacing the filter units- the cover gets turned sideways- and there is a place for 2 tabs to fit on the side, and a conveniently located screw holds the other side of the cover.
It does not make an airtight fit- dont worry- its just there to keep the filter in place.
