Removing Large amounts of Adhesive Residue
Hey guys.
After removing a poorly installed 3M Clear Bra. There were large amounts of Adhesive residue left behind. In in the process of removing it using
1. Goo Gone spray
2. Plastic warp (keep the goo gone from dry too quickly)
3. Plastic scraper
Any other suggestions?

screw using goo gone!
Get a citrus based cleaner, dilute it and spray and let it sit for a bit, then wipe. You can also get a bug and tar remover from walmart/autozone and use that to remove all the stuff.

Also see if you can find a white scotch bright pad. They are soft enough to use without damaging the surface if you don't over do it. Also any paint and body supply shop will have some more aggressive products. I have even used an eraser product from Snap-on tools called a crud thug for pulling heavy decal residue.

Invest in Dupont Prep sol (3919S) It will take off that stuff right off with the least amount of effort.

isopropyl alcohol of the highest concentration, can be found at your local convenience store. i would recommend the 90% concentration
not sure how this would affect your paint, its rubbing alcohol cant imagine it would be that bad
