Removed my control arm, how to put it back?
#2
ouch, looks like you pressed out the ball joint sleeve along with the ball joint.
someone else did the same, and I think they managed to get it back in with a modified lbj puller to act as a press.
But the manual says if that happens you need a new control arm.
i'm sure someone else will chime in with a solution.
edit: off topic, but a reason why i dislike working on suspension in my driveway or at all for that matter. If i mess something up, even towing it would be difficult.

why would acura do like that? My old acura rl didnt have any sleeves. I will try to run to autozone tomorrow morning. Will try to find some kind the tool to remove the sleeve. Will bring to the shop tomorrow with my bushings, should be no problem to press them back.

bolt is to short to do that, anyways i managed to bang it back with the help of the magic tool called hammer It went pretty smooth. Since crown nut is bigger then the sleeve nothing bad going to happen
