Unhappy removed front mudflaps, but now there are marks...*pics*

well my car came with the front mudflaps and i just wasnt feeling the black color there, so instead of painting them over, i decided to just remove them and see how it looks, the DRIVER side is not bad, there was some rust marks, but i rubbed them off, along with some scuff marks.

but the passenger side the scuff marks are a bit harder to remove

i have tried a few products i just had lying around and nothing got it off. Any suggestions on what i could use. here are some pics to show you what im talking about

zoomed in

zoomed in and image enhance to see the extent of the damage....

(it doesnt feel like its eaten through the paint, but its definitely pressed into the paint nicely!!)

any suggestions? you think if i claybar'd it.. that would get it out?

I used a clay bar on mine. it worked well. there is some clear coat damage from the plastic against the paint. it would require some buffing after

Use a clay bar then a polish to remove any scratches or marring. Be sure to follow up with a good wax or sealant and you should be golden...
