Hey guys so this just happened a couple hours ago.. sometime between 3:30pm to 8pm
i came home from work around 3:30pm and everything was perfectly fine with the mirror... however when i got back into my car a few hours later around 8pm i noticed my mirror had this huge hazy spot right in the top middle portion.. not only that, my entire rear view mirror now seems blurry, even the portion that wasnt affected

has anyone ran into this problem before? and is there a fix for it? my car was in the garage when this happened
ive got a clip on broadway mirror i can use for now, but id rather use the oem mirror as my main

It has failed. The bubble will probably grow larger and the auto-dim function won't work anymore. The fix is to replace the mirror.

im probably going to replace it with a new oem one.. ive searched the forums and realized this is somewhat common

there are other threads on this forums with people that had the same exact problem as mine and some experienced black liquid
that leaked from the mirror overnight and damaged their interior and center console... its only $140 through oemacuraparts with the discount shipped
