Hi everybody, just wondering, if I don't have any more of the original, what's the best adhesive to use to put on a lip spoiler? By this I mean sticking it to the trunk.

thats the one I used to secure the Type S spoiler and has yet to have any part to begin peeling up.

Be sure to clean the area with rubbing alcohol so that the adhesive can stick properly. I am thinking about using some black silicone around the edge so that water does not deteriorate the foam

Uhh worked for me, and I tried it again. Go to Homedepot.com search for product number 4011-LONG

its 3M Scotch Brand Super Heavy Duty Exterior Mounting Tape. Home Depot should have it in stores.

I haven't heard of the other companies but I know many people here have ordered from thespoilerstore (including me) and the product is awesome (yes get it painted, the paint color matches perfectly and it fits perfect and looks good) so I would go with them for guaranteed service and knowing you will get what you want.

very easy to install. just helps if you have one person there with you so you can get the alignment on perfect. btw that second one.. ya it is cheaper, but i dunno cus the main picture with the right car is the good spoiler but the one at the bottom showing all the colors shows a different spoiler (the M3 style spoiler) which is smaller and just has a tiny little lip on it...

Ya I did and its ok but not the same looking .. I'm ordering one from the Spoiler Store today and replacing it ..

Anthracite Metallic.... and the one on their samples pic of the AM looks kinda dark..
hey.. would it be possible for u to take a picture of the one u purchased from this guy? how is it different looking than the spoiler store ones

here is the pic of the M3 type lip spoiler you are looking at on ebay... it's not on AM but still you should be able to tell the difference what it looks like


here is a pic of the decklid lip spoiler from the spoilerstore on ebay, which is on an AM and again you can tell the difference in the spoiler from the previous pic and in this one



there are tons of forums about these spoilers here.... most people (including myself) dont like the M3 type one cus the it is much smaller and not as popular (hence the cheaper price?).

anyways... that is my input. i know you will make the right decision

I don't have the Aspec .. But everything I order I get out of the US as I have a shipping address in Wash State 11 miles from me.

I just ordered the spoiler today ... The M3 one is coming off.
