Really weird squeaking
so during braking my TL starts to squeak, and it's not like a little bit, it is extremely loud, i'm not sure if it is coming from the front or back, beacuse I only get to hear it as i'm driving...
i took it to the dealer (btw i have a-spec AT brake pads)...and they couldn't figure out what was wrong....in the end they just replaced the A-spec pads with new a-spec pads...
it seemed to go away, but after like 3 weeks, it's back, and louder than ever....can someone please tell me what's up?
when i do hard braking like slamming the brakes..(not that i do often) there is no squeaking, but if i'm just easing up to the stoplight...god it sound like my car is wailing ....it's gotten so loud, i can even hear it through the music @ 20 if my sunroof is open.
please help me out, as the service center couldn't even figure out what was wrong.

thanks for the input
anyone else got any thoughts? and does anyone know what is the warranty situation on rotors? aka if they're warped or something is it gonna be a huge chunk out of my empty pockets?

Your steering wheel and the rotors would shake and vibrate to some degree if the rotors were warped. If the rotors are the problem, the dealership may cover rotors under warranty only in very limited circumstances (obvious defect unrelated to wear, very low mielage, good customer, etc.). Warped rotors can sometimes be repaired by turning (machining); other times they have to be replaced.

the first time i went, they saw all this red on my brakes and said they were glazed....resurfaced them, and now the squeaking is as loud as ever....should i be worried? since this is my everyday car, i really need to know before i end up taking it to acura to have it looked at for a warped rotor replacement/fix

Get dealer to change out the pads, then make sure to break in the new pads before doing any hard stops.
A glazed pad is different from a warped rotor, which is when the rotor (brake disc) surface develops unevenness. If you do not feel any unusual vibrations on braking, you likely don't have a warped rotor.

When replacing pads in this situation, I would go with the advice that comes in the box of HAWK HPS brake pads.
It says- If not maching rotors when replacing pads, MUST CLEAN rotors of residue of old pads with 150 -thats right 150- grit sandpaper, then soap and water wash and rinse.
Glazing and surface contamination happen to more than just the pads
Depending on car year and milage, many have gotten warranty rotors-

JCL22- I forgot about that. The dealership probably did not machine/turn or clean off your rotors when it put on the replacement A-spec pads, so the old pad residue on the rotors caused glazing on the new pads.
Mention this possibility to the service writer AND the tech when you visit the dealer.
