really dumb headlight question... so here goes

Ok guys, sorry for the dumb question but xenons are somewhat new to me...

When are the inside headlights (not the xenons) supposed to come on? Mine are off all the time, both low beams and high beams. Are they just regular bulbs?

Thanks in advance!

no, the running lights are on the outside. Plus, I can't get them to come on at all.

I think you're referring to the fog lights, which are integrated into the headlight fixtures, if you have an 04-06 3G (the 07-08 moved the fog lights to below the bumper into the air dam fascia- at least the TL-S has).
The fog lights are controlled by the ring on your headlight switch stalk.

and welcome to AZ!

I don't know if those fog lights are xenon, HID or halogen though...

LOL!!! That was it, they work fine, and I am an idiot... Those sneaky Japanese!

Im used to the separate switches on all the GM vehicles I have owned. It never occured those were foglights. All that being said, are they really that useful?

I've used the foglights a few times(no more than 30 over a couple of years) and thought they were helpful to vision in really thick fog. IDK about how helpful they are compared to the headlights in light fog, but I use the fog lights as well since they can't make visibility worse!

I leave the fogs on with the headlights all the time. They actually add a good amount of light to the extreme sides and just in front of the car.
