REAL "Sunglass Holders"
The cheap plastic pocket inserts in my door panel don't meet my definition of "sunglass holders." I don't even understand how they can be marketed as "sunglass holders."
My cat could design something better than these.
My '04 and '06 Accords had nice, hydraulically damped, swing-down holders that were mounted to the rood console. THOSE are real "sunglass holders."
I tried a couple of aftermarket ones and none of them were really "right" for this application.
What are people using for sunglass holders in their '04 - '08 TL cars???

We have a sunglass holder? Sorry, new to the TL-S. My old TSX had a nice ceiling drop down sunglass holder that I wish the TL-S had. So where exactly is the sunglass holder in the TL-S?

Loving my 08 TLS!
LoveMyTL-S, funny thing is that I didn't notice that the car doesn't have sunglass holder until someone point it out in this forum. All of my previous cars have tints so I never need to wear glasses. By the way, how's the new car holding up? I love mine, just went pass 350 miles, can't wait until I am over 600 miles.

it's me, Alan Rickman.
The new TSX has a drop down one; my sun glasses fit ok in the side pockets on the TL - atleast it's a softer plastic instead of some rigid crap that would scratch them..

definitely hate this crappy sunglass holders in the door bay...freaken retarded. It's a bitch to put the glasses in while you are driving or to pull them out....
And those two pockets below the navi...what are their uses? the are like 6" by 200000" in depth, lol.

Ok... first of all, I have a Type S and the pull out door bay things are NOT for sunglasses... unless you want to scratch the S**T out of your sunglasses!
Put them in the top push-hydrolic door bay over the smaller one with the power source... right in the dash.
If you fold the arms and put the glasses in there upside down (arms closest to the base of the compartment) they should be safe and I have a huge pair of Oakleys that fit there perfectly.
Furthermore the rubberized bottom keeps them from moving around too much and it keeps my metal pair from vibrating and making too much rattle noise while I'm driving.
Problem solved.

I actually drop my sunglasses in there every so often, when I'm not using the sunglasses in the glove compartment, and the rubberized material keeps noise to a minimum. All my Ray Bans have glass lenses and metal frames (aviator style Large Metal IIs), so they can't get scratched.

Careful not to drop those Ray bans on the concrete... glass lenses definitely scratch, just not as easily... don't put your keys near them or pens and stuff in that compartment either...

I bought one of those clips that goes over the visor at WalMart for around 5 bux, but when I clip my Revos into them, the nose pieces rattle so badly it's like Chinese Water Torture. Now I just use the case that came with them and stick them in the door compartment.
