Rattles driving me nuts!!!

I know you all have seen this post many times. I thought there was a thread somewhere for all the rattle and fixes that people have. I have searched for a while tonight and can't seem to fine it?

My current list is:

1. Drivers side dash/vent area. Seems to go away if I push right above the vent where the vent meets the "rubber" part of the dash. Not sure how to get the vent cover off to take a look at this?

2. AT shifter. I think if I could remove the outer ring I could fix this one. Not sure how to do that either?

3. Rattle coming from rear deck. I suspect the sub and I think there is a fix for that one?

Any help would be appreciated, these rattles are enough to drive a guy insane!!!

I remenber there's a TSB for the driver side vent rattle. The pipe that conduct air inside can rattle. May be it was in an acura bulletin.

Check them all here

The shifter ring is easy to get off. There are a few tabs around it. Just use a knife to push on the tabs and it should come off. I put some foam tape around where the outer ring meets to inner piece. It has been quiet ever since.

Where are these "tabs" located? It is pretty tight to the center console, is there a trick to getting a knife under it?

If you have the service manual there is a picture of where the tabs are. Or I think Ron probably has a scan of it in the 3G garage. Or you can just stick something flat under there and feel around for them. Sorry I'm not at home this week or I'd be able to better explain where the tabs are. Really once you find the tabs and push on them a little it comes off fairly easily.
