Radio Problem..

I have read around on here and other forums and from what I have read, I will need to get a new radio but just wanted to see if there is anything else I can do that will fix it.
So, I was leaving lunch today, and had my CD player playing a CD. Well, I go down the road and realize nothing is playing, so I check my volume and everything is on. I try to switch CD's and nothing happens, it says it changed but no music still. So I turn the radio on, and it will play on the radio for about 2 minutes and then just cut off. I get home, check the fuse under the steering column and the radio fuse is NOT blow. So I am stumped. I also unplugged the negative terminal on the battery to just see if that would do anything, but still nothing. I replaced the fuse even though it didn't look blown and same deal. Not working. Can someone help me out? I am suppose to meet a guy tomorrow about a trade.

Maybe it's a heat problem. Was it really warm outside when you drove? Have you tried it at night when it is cooler? Any update?

It was warm outside, probably about 93 degrees or so, but it still does not work. When I tried today to cut my CD player on and listen to some music, it did the same thing, just not play anything, and then I hit the AM/FM button, and it didnt play and just cut off again. So I had to turn my car off, and turn it back on just to get the radio on. It is getting annoying listening to the same shit on the radio all the time now haha.
I don't believe it is my battery, I just got a new one about a month and a half ago.
