QUESTION about "wrapping" vinyl?
Ok i have a question about how vinyl is supposed to work
I jsut did my hood trim, only the face showing is actually nicely overlayed, the other sides i cut them and ridged a little for it to fit
My question is, is this what "wrapping" is? Or are you supposed to blowdry it / heat it up hot enough so that it is smooth on all sides? Because i just cannot get it to be smooth and not ridge on the sides!

yup! you got it...ur just supposed to heat up the edges and stretch it...by doing this you'll get nice smooth corners and then you can cut off the excess and stick it down.

ok, i just learned that if you use CF vinyl or other "special design" vinyl it doesnt mold like colored ones do, youre better off cutting it around to fit
but i spent hours on just the hood trim, now it is like pro done, very clean perfect fit, but did not use heat gun just cut like notches
