Somehow there is a leak on my power steering hose that runs from the resorvoir towards the back of the engine. Noticed it because it leaked, dripped on the rear of the engine and caused it to smoke. Did anyone else have a similar problem???

 

Actually, there is an official RECALL on the PS hose- get it changed ASAP before you have an engine fire!
BTW, the recall means that you will not be paying for the PS hose replacement even if the TL is out of warranty.

I just got the recall notice for my '07 TL. It affects "certain" 3G TLs. I think I'll be calling the shop tomorrow - fire=bad.

It's at the dealership all now. They were pretty cool with dealing with it. I'll hope that it's a done deal when I get it back...
