Power Steering

Hey guys. YES, i did search before I ask this question. I just need a reassurance.

I just bought a 04 TL. When I got the car, it was making the dreaded whining noise of power steering. I checked the fluid and saw it had None, and that the power steering pump looks unused. So i added some fluid but never drove the car. Next day comes I see leak*power steering fluid*, but since it was late I didnt investigate. I understand there was a recall on the hose, Would Acura still Honor this to this date? My car is a 04 TL with 95k Miles. Owner before me looked like they did the regular maintenance.

As long as the car isn't salvaged, wrecked or just isn't a clean title. You'll be able to get the recall done for free if it hasn't been done before.

There are a lot of things that cause P/S Fluid leaks but I would check the Hoses, Reservoir and Steering Rack since the leak is pretty fast from what your saying.

I had that terrible whining noise and all I had to do was replace a single O ring.

Acura will def honor the replacement.
