The seat only goes up n down but won't go forward or backward. Any idea what it is.

 

Do all your external mirror controls work?
What about the windshield wipers?

If they also don't work, replace the #20 7.5A fuse (interior fusebox by driver's left leg) with a 10A fuse-- there was a TSB recommending the change. Hopefully that resolves your problem.

If everything else works, push the seat memory buttons to see if the seat will move forward or backward. If not, this may be a rare case of a seat motor going bad.
