Parasitic battery drain persists after HFL removal.

Hi,
New here, thanks for checking out my thread. I've had an '06 tl for about 5 months now and i'm starting to get frustrated. I noticed when I first got the car that the HFL wasn't working which wasn't too big of a deal since i'd planned on installing the GROM unit. However I've been having a very frustrating problem which is the parasitic battery drain that many on this forum attribute to the HFL draining power when the engine is off. I followed directions on this forum for removal and did so, now nothing seems to have changed. My voltmeter still registers a power drain when I put it in line with the battery and i've even spent a couple hours pulling and replacing every fuse to see if i could find where else it might be coming from with no luck. I've also noticed that the dry spot on the roof i've seen described on this forum where condensation won't form because of the heat radiating is still there. Is it not enough to disconnect the HFL? Could it be the dimming rear view mirror? Getting kinda frustrated since I can't leave it anywhere for more than a day or so. Any help would be very appreciated.

Are you sure you didn't disconnect the dimming mirror instead of the HFL?
