P145C and P0497

can some one help me figure out these codes. I know that P0497 is low purge flow. Everything I’ve read through on this forum leads me to the purge solenoid but I have already replaced it. I tried replacing the actual canister in the rear under the car but it did not come with the new shut off valve, could that be the problem?

As for the P145C it just tells me “unknown diagnostic trouble code” what does even mean lol.

I was getting tighten gas cap all morning this morning and then the check engine came on with these codes and haven’t got the gas cap message since. Can some shed some light on this I’m sick of my check engine glowing like sun.

That's what we use in the shop:

Had no idea this guy is so expensive. Actually all of them are. Surprising as I thought it's just smoke machine with pressure regulator.

If you want to go cheap, get engine diagnostic. If they find out it's something expensive, tell them you gonna do it another time/next paycheck etc. and just pay for diag.
Then you can replace that part yourself. If it's something simple and they don't charge much, go for it.

I just hate evap systems.

thanks for the help man I called a shop today and they quoted me at $90 to smoke the system so I’m going to have to go with it and hope it’s an easy fix.
