New Drivers Seat Upholstery

New Drivers Seat Upholstery
My first post on this forum. I have an 06 TL. I am the original owner. Car has around 75K miles.
I have decided to keep the car since it is so fun to drive. First up is the upholstery. The drivers seat is in bad shape.
I removed the seat and have started removing the cover.
Seat Removed
This is what I am going to repair. I have the new upholstery ready to install after I remove the cover.
And a pic of my car 06 TL

Where did you get your seat covers from? Thanks in advance.
I need to do the same to the camel seat covers in my '05 6MT, I've replaced the bottom heater in the driver's seat so know how to get the covers off.

Just curious, are you using hog rings or zip ties as fasteners?

That's what I used when I replaced the driver side seat cover on my CL-S6 last year:

This spring I'm gonna replace the seat bottom for both front and rear.

Are you replacing the seat backs or leaving them as is?
Mine are in good condition so I'm figuring to just leave the seat backs alone and replace all three seat bottoms.

I agree with this comment. I can;t speak to an Acura seat construction, but what are typically used are called “hog ties”. These are metal rings that are clamped in place with a dedicated design pliers. Amazon has a kit for about $17, take a peak and see how it might work. Hog tie kit. Scroll down once at the link; the kit usually has several hundred of the rings and the crimping pliers.
