Hey guys,

I had the bottom of my car cleaned, drove it for a week with the dye and took it back to the mechanics on Saturday. Mechanic took me to see the car when it was lifted and said the oil gasket needs to be replaced and transmission line hose. Parts are only 100 bucks total but they are wanting to charge me $218 for labor I am thinking of having my brother in law do it but I didn't know how tedious of a job it is. What all is involved in replacing the transmission line hose?

it's a hard line that goes from radiator to transmission, glad you caught that in time, as the hard line likes to come out/disconnect break at the fitting near the radiator

all you have to do is replace the hard line

can anyone help with the part numbers for this fix? Mechanic says I can take my own parts.

Thanks. I'll just call them because I put in oil pan gasket and it came up with like 10 results and I have no idea what I am looking for.
