Oil in coolant reservoir and radiator

This is for my uncle's TL-S. It's a 2007 Automatic. The other night he was just doing a basic inspection of the car when he saw the coolant level seemed low. Upon further inspection he found what seemed to be oil in the overfill coolant reservoir. Also opening the radiator cap showed what appeared to be oil as well. The tube that goes from the top of the radiator to the overfill bottle was also full of grime with slimy oil around it.
The engine oil level was normal
The following morning he opened the radiator cap again and this time the fluid looked more like the correct color for coolant.
He had another look at the radiator and it seems like the transmission is also cooled by the radiator, could there be a chance that there is a small hole and the 2 fluids are mixing?

At this point we're thinking to replace the radiator and drain / refill the transmission oil. But, let me know what you guys think.

thanks!

My bet is the transmission oil cooler inside the radiator. Once you get the radiator replaced, do a 3x3 fluid change on the transmission using Honda DW-1 ATF,

Check the ATF fluid dipstick and you should see a pinkish color if coolant getting into trans.

Yeah replace the radiator with a DENSO replacement from Amazon.com for a fraction of the price of OEM. Get 2 gallons of OEM Honda blue coolant and 4 quarts of Honda DW 1 ATF fluid.
