OBSERVATION: roatated tires, cleaned rims etc and...
the noise that ive been hearing isnt coming from the crankshaft pulley. what pulleys are actually spinning when in nuetral and which ones arent? this noise that i hear is ONLY when in gear, therefore one of the pulleys that arent spinning when in neutral is where the noise is coming from...i THINK. any input is fantastically appreciated

all the pullies constantly spin- the differance is the load put on different ones when trans is engaged, and that changes the engine speed too
When the ac is ON it has a secondary clutch system that engages, but its main pulley always spins with the belt
Find out what you are turning on when it goes in gear,,,work from there backwards
AC tensioner pulley is a popular failure part

well while the pass side tire was off, i pulled back the plastic covering, turned the car on (in nuetral obviously) and looked at what pulleys were moving. there was one pulley that wasnt spinning, it was the pulley in the bottom right side of the wheel well.
