Unhappy Not turning over

We've just got a massive amount of rain here in western massachusetts. i drove my acura TL 04 thru about 5 puddles that were about 1 foot deep. i then drove it about 25 miles to my old college the same night, no problem. after i got to my friends house and did my thing, i tried to turn it on. first it had trouble turning on, but it did. i drove it a half mile down, it started to stall (automatic). i pulled over, left it a while, turned it back on and drove it back to my friends driveway mostly on nuetral because it wanted to stall. left it for a day, battery dead. tried to jump start it, nothing. got it towed back to my house. went to the store and recharged the battery. got it hooked up, the battery good, but now it doesnt turn-over. is this the alternator or something got wet, ignition? stressing and i hope this is covered by my warranty. my limited warranty (50k miles) just expired. please help me and suggestions

it appears that you may have gotten water into the air intake and the residual water in there caused the hydrolock.

If it were hydrolock it should have seized immidiately.

Too much to speculate on what it is or could be until we know more about the car itself. Is this car stock or modded and if modded what what mods do you have.

Well if it's stock there really isnt a way for it to be hydrolocked. Not saying that it's impossible but it is extremely hard to do. So I would do a few things first.

-Check the air filter see if it's wet.

-When checking or removing the filter start the car with the top of the air box open. If it runs fine it may be that you have something stuck in the silencer box restricting the air flow to the engine.

-Replace the crappy factory battery. Even though you got it charged it is still garbage. Just replace it and save yourself anymore future problems.
