No Front Strut Bar bad?
Hey guys,
I'm just wondering if it's okay to leave my front strut bar off my car for a few days while I wait for my suspension parts.
I heard of stories about not having one can lead to a cracked windshield.

I'm just not sure if my car parked for a few days (not driving, duh lol) would do any harm.
Thanks!

I ran half a track day and street driving without mine on and never had a single issue, even with coilovers. That wimpy little strut bar would never provide enough rigidity in a chassis to be required to prevent a windshield from cracking.
that wouldn't be saying much for the suspension/chassis if it was required. Yes, there is flexing up front all the time and stiff coilovers would make it increase over a stock but I have a really hard time believing it would cause enough flex to crack a windshield.

For a long time, people running Teins with EDFC (?) had to run without a front strut brace; there was no brace that would fit.
Some claim it does/can lead to a cracked windshield, but just based on reading threads over the years, there seem to be a lot more people running without a strut brace than there are cracked windsheilds.
