Hello Folks,
Happy to be joining this awesome looking forum. I'm new to these types of sites, but my friends suggested TL.AcuraZine to get more familiarized with the Acura/TL community.
I just recently purchased a '06 3.2TL (58k mi)from a private seller who kept the car in impeccable condition, however, the seller was only able to provide recent proof of service history(last ~2 years or so). I've read around that in my case, it would be a good idea to get an oil/filter change, replace air/cabin air filter, change or possibly flush the transmission fluid depending on the current quality of the fluid. Can anyone kindly suggest anything more or different that they would do? Many thanks in advance for your help!

In addition to what you already mentioned I would do a 3x3 drain and fill of the transmission with Redline Racing fluid and replace the 3rd and 4th gear pressure switches. It will greatly extend the life of the trans. The quicker you get the factory fluid out even if it's brand new, the better off you will be.
You don't have to at your mileage but it's not a bad idea to do a drain and refill of the radiator with Acura/Honda coolant.
It's not a bad idea to do the powersteering fluid too. Just a simple drain and refill of the reservoir using a turkey baster and OEM fluid will be fine at your mileage.

Hi I Hate Cars haha,
thanks for the reply, Would i use the redline racing fluid for a 6MT? I read thats what people use for AT TLs? and a simple drain and refill is ok? would I need a flush, or would that have some dependencies?
