Hey guys, need your help!

First off, sorry if I started this thread in the wrong section. Kind of hard to navigate on this site.

So heres the problem. A few months back I was working on my girlfriends 2004 TL, I disconnected the battery and when I reconnected it, her radio wouldn't work. Well we figured that out and she had the code.
Fast forward to two weeks ago, her battery died. I replaced it and after that was said and done, her radio was locked out again. She put in the code and the radio will only work for about 2-3 minutes and then it'll automatically get locked out again and she will have to put the code back in only for it to lock out again in a few minutes. Is there a permanent fix for this or can anyone steer me in the right direction with it?

You need to find it why the battery keeps dying. It's probably the hands free link but it could be something else as well.

it sounds like there's a bad connection with the battery possibly that's causing the radio power to flicker and have it ask for the code. Does it do it only while driving, or even while sitting idle? Does it do it when the car is on accessory mode while listening to the radio?

I would guess the same as vpasla about the HFL being the culprit to battery drain. Totally off subject but does Terminated97 mean 03/04 Terminator swapped ?
