NBP swirl mark 07 type s
What is the best way to minimize those swirl marks on NBP, i use the microfiber clothes but i still see them all over. ANy suggests. What the best for removing surface scratches as well. Someone let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks

Scratch X for Meg's. Also make sure the cloth is clean and don't rub in circles, only back and forth. Try posting in the wash and wax section for better eplies from some of our gurus.

You need to strip the car of all its wax, clay the car, and then start over.... a buff/polish is the only thing that will truly take the scratches off the clear coat...all of the other stuff will just fill in scratches so they are less visible for a short period of time. Follow process below
dish soap to strip any wax/residue
claybar to pull contaminants out of clearcoat
buff
polish
wax
done.
Dont EVER take it to one of those scrach o matic auto car washes, use two really good quality wash mitts with two buckets, one for the top half of the car and one for the bottom half. wash with the lines of the car, not in circles, as mentioned prior. Wax quarterly...shouldnt have any problems going forward.

ditto what Chester said above. However, to polish your car to remove the swirls, you're probably going to need a buffer like a Porter Cable. Polishing a car by had, while possible, is a TON of work.

A good wash with 2 buckets, one with the car wash detergent (don't use dish washing detergent) and one bucket with clean water, to dip the mitt during the wash, before going into the bucket for more detergent.
Then, get the Mother's Pre-wax cleaner, Mother's Sealer and Glaze, and Mother's Pure Carnuba Wax (their 3 step process), apply per instructions. (You could sub Rejex in place of the Pure Carnuba). Will take 4-5 hours to wash and wax. Your car is so new so there shouldn't be any oxidation on the clearcoat/paint.
We have a 11 year old Accord with the dark green paint. Last time I did the Mother's 3 step process (about 1 year ago) the car came out awesome.
Only downside though with the Carnuba is that it lasts only 2 months or so.. The Rejex is supposed to last a lot longer, provided you follow the curing instructions..
I do everything by hand except for the removal of the wax/Rejex. I use a random orbital to remove the wax.
Good luck
