my car wont move...frozen
so i attempted to take off for work, but i come to find out that my back tire/axles/something is frozen and wont spin. my front tires spin, but the backs just drag. also, when i then tried to leave my car after my failed driving attempt, i find out that my driver door lock will not unlock. the button sort or unlocks it, but it immediately re-locks. and i cant manually unlock it either because it wont budge. it just isn't my morning

Perhaps a hair dryer may help.........but I would imagine it would take some time to thaw your car out. How about a ride from a friend, neighbor, relative, or perhaps a taxi, train, bus???

.. strange .. check for water seepage into your fuse box under your hood or on your relays. Could have been an electrical short..

Wait...do you use the handbrake at night? I did that before on my old CL and in the morning I put the handle down but the actualy mechanism froze causing my rear tires to lock in place.

The dealer had to replace my parking brake cables to keep mine from freezing up in the cold temps. I wouldn't have even washed my car for a week or so and it would still freeze up the driver's rear parking brake.
