Mud that ate into clear-coat

Fuck careless people! Today at school, as I park at the end of the lot next to the curb, as far as I could so I dont get door dings, and what do you know? Some asshole in a explorer with nobby tires spits mud all over the hood, and down the side of my NBP tl, which I had just washed and waxed. The kid must have known he did it, it was very obvious. After saying a few choice words, I went home and washed the mud off gently, so I dont scratch the paint. After drying the car, I notice that the mud ate into the clearcoat! It is etched where the mud was! So I go down to my bodyshop guy, he said there must have been some kind of brake fluid/ trans fluid in the mud for it to do that. He wet-sanded the spots on my hood, and buffed it out, looks like new! He said when I have time to come down and he'll take care of it for me.
WTF, as careful as you try to be, there always has to be an asshole to do something. Good thing I got out early today because I didnt have my last class, it would have been worse, seeing it was roughly on there for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

Careless People

Yeah, if theres one thing you can count on its people who have no respect for anyone elses possesions or who's ego does not leave room for a little consideration.

Thanks. My bodyshop guy actually had everything done in about 30 minutes, it came out like new. I was a little worried when seeing the clearcoat being scratched like it was, but he buffed everything out

People can really be assholes, when my TL was parked in the HS parkinglot last year, some kids tried to spraypaint grafitti on my TL. Good thing I had Just applied Zaino, the paint did not stick, but it did stain my mudgaurds. to get some payback if you wish to, put some CO2 in that assholes tires and also dump some brake fluid/ trans fluid on his explorer, that give his tires holes and eat through his paint. BTW, a funnier way would be to put some vasaline under his door handles on the car and also to stick a banana into the muffler pipe and if you can, drop a pingpong ball into the gas tank via the gas door (will clog the fuel pump after a while of driving, killing the car unit the next time it is started.
