So I've had my TL for a little over 6 months now and I think she needs a tune up. This week she has been a little slower to start than she was when I first got her. I have started to notice a slight skip as the rpm climbs so I'm thinking I have a fouled out plug. Granted I have been dealing with Compression Ignition exclusively for the past 6 years. Also when going from 1st to 2nd I can hear a faint backfire(only exhaust mods are removed mid muff and resonator) MPG has dropped about 3mpg over the past week but I attributed that to the higher temps here in the Valley(mid 90s). Also today I had to put a little over a 1/2 gallon of water into her today.

Now Im assuming this just means its past due for some maintainence. She had her 120k service done at 112k. Anybody recommend good plugs and wires? Haven't purchased any in a long time so I have no idea whats new on the market. Thanks
