MID Reset?

I got my 1st oil change yesterday at 6,000 miles and after I got home (100 miles from dealership) I realized they didn't reset the MID. I'm going to call them tomorrow and see what they say, but how important is this? And if it's not reset how many miles should I go before I need another oil change?

Other than that, the service experience at the dealership (Acura of Seattle) was great. The gave me a loaner car right away so I could do what I needed and I hadn't even asked.

P.S. If you can reset the oil life it will save you a call to the dealer. If you have a problem you can PM me.

Problem Solved

Tried to reset the MID myself and couldn't. So I called the dealership today and apparently any Honda dealership can also reset the MID. So since we have a Honda dealer in town, I will have them take care of it for me.

Thanks for your help.

Yep, they should be able to handle that job. Should take about eight seconds.
Enjoy your TL.
