Low Voltage issues

I have a 2007 Acura TL 3.2L and i just replaced the Battery and alternator with brand new ones. The issue I'm having trouble with is low power on everything in the car. My battery light comes on and everything starts to bog down...my ac air barely blows, my navigation screen flickers, my gauges all stopped working for a split sec, my windows are slow rolling up and the most thing more disturbing is my transmission seems to be working off the electrical system because when I get low voltage, the trans. does not engage and pulls very harsh once it slips into gear. I'm stumped and tried digging for the problem, I don't want to spend any money trying to find the problem before checking all the resources. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thx!

could be a bad alternator.. OEM or aftermarket?

I'd try to exchange and try again. also use multimeter to test output voltages on battery and alternator.

I forgot to add that I went to pep boys today where I bought the alternator to see if it was bad and to see if my new bat. Was bad and everything came out with no problems. It does it all day but at different times.

Check all your connections to make sure they are tight. clean all your battery terminals and tighten them down then!

Sounds valid...i will definitely try that and see if it improves but I have a question. Is it so that the trans. engages through the electrical system cause when I have low voltage the trans does not shift and when I'm stopped and accelerate it creeps...i have to really give it gas to even move but once it slips into gear it hits hard. Anything on that by any chance?

Well with our cars, our ECU have a shitton of sensors to them.

Electrical gremlins always leads to very odd issues and red herrings. Tighten all connections, clean them, ensure your car gets good voltage, and it should relieve all your issues.

Is that new since the electrical issue or that is a completely different issue that happened even before?
If it slips a lot since then I would be wary about driving the car.
Otherwise make sure your pressure switches are recent/new and a 3x3 never hurts.
