Low Engine Coolant Overflow in TL Type S???
Guys;
I notice everytime I check my engine coolant overflow on my TL Type S when the engine is cool, there is almost no fluid in it at all. It's maybe 1/4" filled. Yet the radiator is full all the way.
In comparison, my 05 TL is always at least 1/2 way or higher when the engine is cool.
I asked my Acura dealer to add fluid to my 07 Type S and they won't do it. They claim it may overflow and that its working just fine.
Your thoughts?

when the car is cold is the level under the minimum line?
go buy 1 gallon of honda type 2 coolant at a honda or acura dealer. when the car is cold, check the level and make sure it's above the minimum line amount and definitely not over the max. what i do is bring it up to a little over the min line when cold cus the fluid level fluctuates to a higher level when the car is running and the engine is hot.

there are cold and hot markers...cold should be MIN
Dont overfill the res when cold!!!
As long as its not empty, or the radiator low,,,then everything is ok
Make sure the rubber hose in the res cap is attached and goes into the fluid
