i started up my car this morning and heard a loud screech noise for like a second after the engine fired up.

anyone know what noise this is? im guessing its one of the belt thats making the noise.

any input is appreciated.

more than likely you are right an it's a belt slipping when you first start up the car. Check the belts and also check the tension on the belt. You can also try spraying some belt dressing onto it to see if it fixes it temporarily.

thanks for your response. im looking to get my 105k service done soon, even though im at 123k lol. hopefully that will fix any belt issue.
