Lost love for the TL, ice cream truck creamed my side literally ask insurance
ok guys sorry for venting but my car has been a magnet here in the last few months, about 2 months ago i got rear ended, it was at 5mph but enough to chip the paint, i got paid, then a few weeks later i got side swiped by a drunk driver, who insurance is dragging out my claim then yesterday a ice cream truck hit the same side as the dwi driver but in the rear. so i flipped out on her and now i really dont want my car. my question do you think my quarter panel will need to be replaced, i really dont want any bondo what do you guys think. damage is worse than in pic

i can't see the pic because im at work, idk what year your car is. but if its side swiped, like really swiped as in your doors have dents along the side, and quarter was damaged, and bumper. that's 3 different losses that i hope you reported. a reputable body shop won't repair anything major, even a dent on a door will qualify for new door skin. especially if you got sideswiped, i wouldn't be surprised if the appraisers wrote for used doors. and then the body shop would ask for more parts if needed. again: i can't see the picture so i cant tell you for sure, but just something to think about. sorry it happened man,

From the picture, it doesn't seem to have pushed the rear quarter forward (body lines/door gap look equal). Does the panel have any creases? I would suspect any shop would just replace the rear bumper and straighten the panel to match.
Is that curb rash on the wheels or from the truck?
Damn ice cream trucks.... Good luck with the repairs

the way you guys are talking about it,seems like it's very minor damage, they'll probably replace your skirts, repair fender and quarter, possibly an aftermarket bumper and call it a day. they'll have to repaint your entire left side "blend". so you probably quite a few thousand in repairs. my paintjob alone with key marks getting repaired is appraised at $4,000.
