Left Rear window refuses to close when the Driver's door is closed
A peculiar issue with my 04 TL occurred last evening after work. As I got into the car and closed the door, the rear window behind me opened all the way down by itself and refused to close with the switch on the driver's door as well as the left rear door. I could hear a one time clicking or whirring noise when I raise the switch but no action from the window.
The work around for this was to open the drivers door--> close the rear window --> disable the window opening with the switch on driver's door and the close the driver's door. I checked the fuse -23 LR window (20A-which looked fine) and also replaced the fuse to be on the safe side. But it did not fix the problem. This morning when I got into the car I heard a continuous static/buzzing sound from the Fuse box area under the dash. The noise disappeared when I started the car and the car drove fine.
Can someone help me diagnose this problem before I spend hundreds of dollars trying to get it fixed. I love my 2004 Acura TL with 132K miles on it and take good care of the car with regular maintenance. I want to keep it for a while unless I am running into a major electrical problem right now.
