Leather interior damage

Hey all,

I drive an 08 base model TL, and after 7 years of daily usage, my interior has some significant damage. What is the cheapest way to repair this? Or am I screwed?

The driver's seat is especially bad because with the tear, the padding underneath is slowly eroding. Leather repair bonding kits haven't worked.

You're going to have to get is reupholstered. That damage is way too big for any "home repair" kit.

there is no repair for this. replace with new leather. if you have at least $600 to spend on EACH seat, go with OEM. If you are looking to spend maybe $200-300 per seat, then go with an aftermarket upholstery shop. Some of them come surprisingly close to oem in texture and color.

I had the exact problem with my front seats..it got to the point where I was embarrassed to have ppl in my car..someone was sellin my exact color on eBay and bought both seats for $500 including shipping...your best bet is to keep lookin either on ebay, local junkyards (car-part.com) or anywhere else you can get lucky with...good look man
