if i use the cruise control and accelerate from the steering wheel will that be a way to test if the APP sensor is the problem?

By any chance, did this problem give u any sign of it forst happening or any possible behavior blurps or studdards (palpitation/hesitations) at all? I have been read most of this thread but no early warning sign mentioned. U just mention all of a sudden on the way to work. The reason for me chiming in and asking is because my AT recently has very light suddle hesitation or pulses in low RPM acceleration... In the range or cruising along of 1200-1500rpm. As mentioned, this range can be met at either accerlating slowly (especially in the morning times) or cruising at approx 40-45mph. Once in a while and randomly it does this act...Any one have any answer? Thanks

well i changed the app sensor and nothing happened....i finally gave up and took it to a specialist...he said if the tranny physically had a problem it would consistently not drive. he took it for a test drive and he said clearly it is an electrical problem. he referred me to a specialist and he did a thorough diagnosis on it. he charges 160$ IF a diagnosis is made. he couldnt find the problem....my last resort is tyring to pull of a recall at acura

Shudder especially when cold and with low throttle when hot is a classic sign of bad switches. At full throttle little emphasis is put on the switches' inputs so full throttle is usually fine while part throttle gets the shudder.

Exactly! ^ It does it when I am first starting to drive for the day or after sitting for hours...Then goes away when I drive low rpm later on like when accelerating from a light or stop... I will be on it asap before any other damages are done.

How much does this service cost from dealer? Or is this something that can be done easily by self? Any recommendations?

I only have a few seconds to reply so I don't have time to read your history but if the battery is giving problems, it could easily be the source of all of your problems. Figure out the voltage issues whether it's a battery or alternator or wiring and then worry about the transmission electrical problems which might go away with a new battery/alternator.

that is exactly what i was thinking...i dont think it is the battery because i was having a little issue before and I took the battery to autozone and it tested fine. i ended up changing the terminals and it solved the problem.
I am thinking it is the alternator. on top of everything, my window has recently been getting jammed and yesterday it literally popped out and i pulled it right out of the door!!!! This shit is driving me crazy..thanx for all the help guys
Now how do i test the alternator?

this is becoming ridiculous

i attempt to jump start the car to take it to autozone to test the alternator and battery. I guess my brother crossed the cables on the end of his car and sparks flew all over the place and i disconnected the cables. then i notice the car lights are on even tho i didnt jump it and the car started!!!! i turned it off to see if it still needs a jump to start but it didnt! I then drove to autozone and both my battery and alternator tested fine. I have no idea what the fuck is going on.

^^^ man I feel ur pain...

I would suggest either of 2 options:

1> Take it to the dealer and pay whatever to get it fixed right and with warranty
2> Sell it

I hate suggesting the 2nd option but u cant let a car drain ur wallet....

You're probably going to find a bad cell in the battery even though it tested good or it's the terminals. At a minimum pull the terminals off and clean both the cables and battery posts very well.
