Intermittent issue with no air blowing from vents and fan is running
Hello all, I have a 2006 TL with navigation. I tried searching on the issue but not have had any luck.
This just started to happen this summer and is increasing in frequency.
Something in the HVAC system is stopping the air from coming out any of the vents. The fan is blowing hard, but very little air comes out of the dash vents, floor, rear vents or defroster vents. It don't matter what mode it is in, heating or colling, in and on both sides. Duel mode can be on or off, auto can be on or off and recirculation can be on or off. The issue corrects itself after a while, usually after the car is parked over night.
I ran the self test by holding the off button and hitting the recirculation button 5 times, not codes came up, but i have not run it when the issue has come up.
My guess some door(s) is getting stuck or confused and blocking the air from the blower fan to get out to the vents.
What do I need to look at first?
Thanks
FYI, I replaced the cabin filter in the spring, but i figured if that was clogged the no air situation would be all the time.

Yeah I would check out the various relays that open up the vents to allow airflow, however I've only ever had my local Acura dealership fix mine before, so I'm not sure where they're located. Maybe some others will chime in and help.
