Indicator lights & tach
Azine,
On the way to work this morning, my car did something kinda funny.
Right as I pulled into work my tachometer started to idle at 1500 rpm and the VSA activation indicator and the malfunction indicator lamp turned on.
It was sort of odd. When I cross checked in the manual, the malfunction indicator is smog related and the VSA is vehicle stability.
I am not too sure why both would go on at the same time though as they seem like different systems altoghether.
Can anybody offer some insight ?
Has this ever happened to anybody ?
Possible fixes ?
Thanx for your help !

yeah, I did get the code. I will post it up later today, I gotta find the paperwork.
I took it into the dealer and they stated it was a real obscure code that is not common on acura's.

OK, so I looked at the reciept again and the issue was a code
V01107 - TAC MODULE COMMUNICATION FAILURE (Throttle Actuator Module).
The service writer stated that it was an ultra rare code and they dont usually run across this.
They cleared the codes and road tested and everything was OK.
They also stated that if it did happen again, they would need to bring out a Honda/Acura Engineer to evaluate.
Has anyone else had experience with this kind of issue ?
I was worried that the install of my new exhaust would cause an issue with my warranty. luckily not this time. The service writer heavily recomended not modding the car further if i wanted to keep the warranty intact.
Thx all
