how to tell if your clutch is on the way out?
Well i was coming home through NY city the other night and was stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 2 hours. All i could smell was burnt clutch. The clutch felt like it was slipping everytime i engaged it after making through the traffic. Now the clutch pedal is very light and feels much different than it used to. I bought the car with 60k and now it has about 77k. Not sure if it is the original clutch. Is there anyway to test or check if the clutch is shot? I am thinking it is about gone.

They way I always checked clutches was put it in the top gear around 30mph and floor it, if your tach and speedo are not moving together, you're screwed. Obviously do this on a road with a lot of space, you could probably do it in 5th in our cars. It probably won't slip until the powerband due to the lack of torque with our motors.
