How to remove rear speakers Acura TL 3rd Gen (How to remove rear seats)
Hi every one i´m a new memeber of acurazine
Heres a little guide for those who still will like to know what do you need to get to the rear speakers of you Acura 3rd Gen (2004-2008)
**I saw some comments about it but could not find a guide so here it is.
What you will need
You will start with the bottom seats there´s clip you need to push to release it and then pull it towars you and up.
Remove four screws at the bottom 10mm bolt
Remove the headrest, just push on the side button
Loosen the screws of the seat it´s not nessesarry to removed them completly.
Remove the side covers whit a flat screwdriver
Now that you have removed all this it will look like this you are almos there remove the rear panel make sure you pull towards you the rear seat so you have space betwen the seat and the rear cover.
To remove speaker you will need a smal phillips screwdriver and 8mm die and ratchet (i had to remove mines since they needed to be repaired i want it to upgraded to 6x9 5 way keenwood but my installer didn´t have the right tools to do the job so i finally decided jus to repair the stock ones and they sound good again)
To put back all together just make sure that panel fit in the same place as the side panel i used a screwdriver to push the rear panel up
Hope this info helps you.

Never seen this version before...So you never fully removed the back seat part, you just loosened the two 10mm bolts behind the headrest and then lifted the rear panel off. Cool!
That seat back part can be a pain moving it in and out of the car several times. Ask me how I know Good job OP

ah.. i guess my work blocks them for some reason. I checked on my cell phone and I can see them. Photobucket is blocked but some other sites work fine.
